Erik Nyman, the executive who spearheaded EveryMatrix’s entry into the North American market, is stepping down from his role as President of the Americas after a successful five-year tenure. Nyman announced his departure with a sense of “pride and gratitude,” stating that he is leaving the company with its North American business “fully established” and poised for future growth.

A “Mission Accomplished” Departure

In his announcement, Nyman framed his departure not as an end, but as the successful completion of a major strategic mission. He was brought on in 2020 to lead the company’s expansion into the nascent U.S. and Canadian markets, a task he now considers complete.

“With the North American business fully established, it is the right time for me to move on and hand over the reigns to my very capable colleagues,” Nyman said in a statement.

His tenure was marked by a series of significant achievements that laid the groundwork for EveryMatrix’s long-term success in the region.

“We have established strong partnerships, created traction, and laid a solid foundation for growth in one of the world’s most competitive and complex market,” he stated.

Building a North American Presence from the Ground Up

Under Nyman’s leadership, EveryMatrix achieved a series of critical milestones that solidified its position in the Americas. The company is now:

  • Licensed and live in every regulated iGaming state in North America.
  • Integrated with direct contracts with the largest operators in both the U.S. and Canada.
  • Involved in major global deals and successful M&A activities.

Nyman noted that these accomplishments were achieved during a period of significant global instability, including the COVID-19 lockdown and other geopolitical challenges, making the successful market entry all the more remarkable.

A New Chapter for Nyman

With his primary mission at EveryMatrix complete, Nyman is now looking to the future and “exploring exciting, new opportunities.” He signaled his continued involvement in the industry, noting that he plans to attend the upcoming Global Gaming Expo (G2E) in Las Vegas.

He closed his announcement with a forward-looking statement, both for himself and for the industry.

“The best is yet to come, and let’s start in Vegas for G2E,” he said.

Nyman’s departure marks a transition for EveryMatrix in North America, moving the business from its initial launch and establishment phase into a new era of operational growth, built on the foundation he and his team successfully established.
