BetMGM has announced a new content collaboration with Better Collective’s Playmaker HQ, becoming the presenting sponsor for two athlete-driven shows: Roommates Show with New York Knicks guards Jalen Brunson and Josh Hart, and No Limit, a blackjack-inspired program hosted by former NBA star Iman Shumpert.

Sponsorship of Roommates Show

The deal extends to the latest season of Roommates Show, a weekly video podcast co-hosted by Brunson, Hart, and their longtime friend Matt Hillman. The program blends basketball, culture, and off-court storytelling. Its newest season debuted September 6, kicking off with a live Block Party in New York’s Central Park that drew thousands of fans along with celebrity appearances by Ben Stiller and Eli Manning.

Playmaker HQ reports more than 2.5 million hours viewed for the show, making it one of its most successful series. BetMGM’s partnership ensures its branding appears throughout the season, including integrated advertising reads and promotional spots.

Casey Hurbis, Chief Marketing Officer at BetMGM, said the collaboration fits the company’s emphasis on media centered around recognizable personalities. “Roommates Show blends sports, entertainment and culture in an authentic way that connects with a wide range of sports fans,” Hurbis said.

Launch of No Limit With Iman Shumpert

Under Playmaker’s All In brand, which focuses on casino-related content, No Limit debuts with BetMGM as presenting sponsor. Shumpert, who played a decade in the NBA and won a championship with the Cleveland Cavaliers in 2015, leads the series. Episodes are filmed at Borgata Hotel Casino & Spa in Atlantic City.

Twelve episodes are scheduled, each featuring Shumpert with guest athletes and entertainers. The format uses blackjack as the entry point for storytelling and debate, with recurring segments:

  • Double Down: Guests facing a classic blackjack “double down” hand must revisit an old tweet, interview, or opinion and decide whether to stand by it or walk it back.

  • Aces Only: When a guest pulls a BetMGM-branded ace, they reflect on signature career highlights and milestone achievements.

New episodes drop every Friday on the All In YouTube channel.

Matt Schwimmer, CEO of Playmaker HQ, said the show reflects the group’s focus on athlete-driven content. “No Limit is the next step in our evolution as we expand into casino content with the All In brand,” Schwimmer said. “It combines entertainment, personality, and unfiltered conversation in a way that truly connects with fans.”
