Bally’s Corporation Joins International Betting Integrity Association

Bally’s Corporation has officially joined the International Betting Integrity Association (IBIA). By joining IBIA, Bally’s aligns itself with over 50 companies and 125 sports betting brands, strengthening its commitment to integrity in the sports betting industry.

Commitment to Integrity

IBIA, a not-for-profit organization, is dedicated to protecting regulated sports betting markets from match-fixing and other forms of corruption.

Robeson Reeves, CEO of Bally’s Corporation, expressed enthusiasm about the partnership. “We are thrilled to join the International Betting Integrity Association. This partnership aligns with our commitment to provide a safe and secure betting environment for our customers. As we continue to expand our footprint globally, we look forward to contributing to IBIA’s mission of upholding the integrity of sports betting worldwide.”

Khalid Ali, CEO of IBIA, welcomed Bally’s to the association, stating, “Bally’s is a major US and growing international gambling company and is another great addition to our rapidly expanding international membership base. It will help us to further broaden the scope of our world-leading betting integrity monitoring network and we look forward to working closely with Bally’s to safeguard its customers and sportsbook from betting-related corruption.”

Monitoring and Anti-Corruption Efforts

IBIA’s global monitoring network detects and reports suspicious activities within regulated betting markets. The network tracks transactional activities linked to individual customer accounts, providing a robust defense against corruption.

IBIA members collectively handle over $300 billion in betting turnover annually, representing approximately 50% of the global commercial-regulated sports betting market.

In its Q2 report, IBIA detailed 90 alerts during the quarter, contributing to the investigations and successful sanctions of 21 clubs, players, and officials in 2023.
