DraftKings Adopts Evive Platform for Enhanced Responsible Gaming
DraftKings announced a partnership with Evive, a behavioral health technology platform. DraftKings will offer customers direct access to Evive’s evidence-based tools and resources through the DraftKings Responsible Gaming Center. The initiative expands existing responsible gaming options. Furthermore, it has the potential for future development across the broader customer experience.
Personalized Support and Platform Function
Evive’s clinical advisory board, composed of behavioral health experts, guided the platform’s development. Consequently, the technology delivers an intuitive, player-friendly experience that helps users control their activity.
The integrated tools fulfill two main functions. First, the system provides Intelligent Support, delivering clinically informed resources to players during natural breaks in play. Users often feel more receptive to engagement at these moments. Second, the platform offers Personalized Matching, furnishing educational content and support tools tailored to each player’s specific profile and evolving needs.
Sam DeMello, Founder and CEO of Evive, confirmed this integration “is setting a new industry standard for player empowerment.” He explained that the platform makes it simple for players to “stay balanced, informed, and in charge of their choices.” Notably, Evive uses consumer-grade technology built by a team with lived experience in behavioral health.
Deepening the Commitment to Player Safety
Lori Kalani, Chief Responsible Gaming Officer at DraftKings, views the partnership as a critical reinforcement of its commitment to player safety. She emphasized that the collaboration makes “additional tools and resources available that can be tailored to customers.”
DraftKings embeds the Evive platform within the Responsible Gaming Center. Therefore, the operator provides users with more tools to help them play responsibly “on their own terms.”
Moreover, the Evive platform serves a dual role: it acts as a direct support system and a digital entry point to comprehensive, statewide gaming support ecosystems.
