High Roller Technologies has appointed its Chief Strategy Officer, Seth Young, as its new Chief Executive Officer in a planned leadership transition effective September 1. Young will succeed Ben Clemes, who is stepping down from the role to spend more time with his family.

A Smooth Transition and a Strong Foundation

The transition is described as a planned and smooth one, with Young having worked closely with Clemes and the leadership team to ensure continuity. Clemes, who has served as CEO since 2024, stated that he is leaving the company in a strong position.

“It has been an honor and a privilege to serve as High Roller’s CEO, and my decision to step away comes at a time when the Company is healthy,” said Clemes. “I’m confident that Seth is the right leader to guide High Roller forward.”

Young, in turn, acknowledged the foundation laid by his predecessor. “I want to thank Ben for his dedication, his achievements, and his thoughtful approach to this transition,” he said. “Because of his leadership, the Company is positioned for growth and success.”

The Board of Directors expressed its full confidence in the new leader. “Ben has been an outstanding leader who guided High Roller through critical growth phases,” said Michael Cribari, the company’s Chairman. “We’re thrilled to welcome Seth to the role of CEO with full confidence in his ability to lead High Roller into the future.”

A Veteran Executive Takes the Helm

Young is a well-known figure in the gaming industry, bringing over 20 years of experience to the CEO role. He moves into the position from his previous role as Chief Strategy Officer at High Roller, giving him an insider’s perspective on the company’s operations.

Prior to joining the company, he served as Chief Innovation Officer at PointsBet, where he was responsible for strategic initiatives including fundraising, partnerships, and M&A. His extensive resume also includes executive roles at FSG Digital and Foxwoods Resort Casino. In addition to his new role, Young currently serves on the boards of Kinectify, EQL Games, and Kindbridge Behavioral Health.

The Company’s Position

Young takes the helm of a company that operates two premium online casino brands, High Roller and Fruta, and is listed on the NYSE under the ticker ROLR. The company’s platform is known for its user-friendly interface and a diverse portfolio of over 6,000 games from more than 90 different providers.

With Clemes leaving the company “well-positioned for its next chapter,” Young is now tasked with building on that foundation to drive future growth and value for the operator’s shareholders, employees, and customers in the competitive global iGaming market.
