Kansas Sports Betting Revenues Soar by 128% in June
Kansas sports betting revenues in June skyrocketed by an astounding 128% compared to the same period last year, reaching $9.4 million.
Month-to-Month Declines
Although sports betting revenues saw a substantial year-over-year increase, they experienced a slight month-to-month decline, dropping from $9.8 million in May to $9.4 million in June.
Similarly, the handle showed a 42% increase compared to June 2023 but fell 18% month-to-month, totaling $140.1 million in June, down from $172.2 million in May.
FanDuel Still Leads
Kansas’ tax revenues from sports betting, like the handle and revenues, increased year-over-year but saw a month-to-month decline. In June 2024, tax revenues amounted to $936,385.
Similarly, DraftKings led mobile operators throughout the year and surpassed FanDuel and BetMGM in June.
