Rush Street Interactive announced that it has promoted Kyle Sauers to the position of President. Sauers will assume the title in addition to his current role as Chief Financial Officer (CFO). This change grants him wider responsibility for day-to-day operations and cross-functional performance across the growing company.

Leadership Evolution for Operational Focus

Sauers joined RSI as CFO in 2020. Since then, his contributions have extended beyond traditional financial management into marketing, commercial activities, operations, and strategy. In his expanded capacity as President and CFO, Sauers will continue to lead RSI’s financial strategy while driving operational alignment and strong execution across the company.

CEO Richard Schwartz explained that the promotion is a natural evolution of Sauers’ leadership and reflects RSI’s continued growth. Schwartz stated that Sauers’ “strategic insight, operational discipline, and collaborative style have been central to RSI’s success.”

The new leadership structure is designed to leverage the complementary strengths of the two executives. Schwartz will now focus more deeply on innovation, online casino legalization, regulatory advocacy, and strategic growth opportunities. This shift will allow Sauers to concentrate on “maximizing the potential of our existing markets through strong execution and operational alignment.”

Commitment to Performance and Growth

Sauers expressed honor in taking on the expanded role. He emphasized the company’s culture, which is “grounded in innovation, integrity, and accountability.”

The new President and CFO plans to focus on strengthening operations and maximizing performance in current markets. Sauers concluded that these efforts will be key to “positioning RSI for the next phase of growth.” This leadership change follows the recent appointment of a new Chief Technology Officer (CTO) last month, signaling a broader restructuring of RSI’s executive team to support future growth objectives.
