SCiQ is the only technology of its kind designed specifically for in-store lottery management. It offers retailers a suite of advanced tools, including automated inventory tracking, digital display boards for game selection, and real-time sales analytics. These features provide retailers with a modernized approach to lottery sales, streamlining operations and improving profitability.
Kansas Lottery Director of Sales & Marketing, Stephen Ortiz, emphasized that retailers have welcomed this modernization, noting that SCiQ improves inventory tracking, enhances product security, and simplifies the checkout process. The system replaces manual inventory management with real-time data, allowing stores to monitor sales performance more efficiently. “The greatest impact is that SCiQ takes the guesswork out of instant game inventory with store-level analytics and insights tied to planograms,” Ortiz stated.
The introduction of SCiQ has been so successful that demand is growing rapidly. “Once the SCiQ project began with our chain retailers, word traveled like the wind, as they say in Kansas,” Ortiz said. “It didn’t take long for our more progressive independent retailers to ask how they could get this technology in their stores.”
