The company’s Chief Content Officer, Brett Smiley, co-founder of the sports betting trade publication Sports Handle, oversees content production that highlights the latest industry developments and trends.
This latest acquisition marks the addition of a third property to Third Planet’s network, which already includes iGaming news outlet CasinoReports.com and lottery-focused LotteryGeeks.com.
Vision for Props.com
According to Adam Small, Third Planet’s mission is to offer top-quality news and tools in the casino, lottery, and player props domains without placing content behind a paywall.
Co-founder Cal Spears emphasized the strategic importance of Props.com, describing it as “a category-defining domain name with significant search traction.”
Spears highlighted that Props.com perfectly complements Third Planet’s focus on both traditional U.S. sports betting and the growing daily fantasy sports (DFS) market, particularly platforms like Underdog and PrizePicks.
Third Planet Affiliates plans to develop Props.com into a daily resource for bettors and fantasy players, leveraging its established presence and search traction.
