William Hill to Take Over Sportsbook Operations at Virgin Hotels Las Vegas
William Hill will take over the sportsbook operations at Virgin Hotels Las Vegas later this year, a move that will bring a major, established betting brand to the off-Strip resort. The transition, which is pending regulatory approvals, will see William Hill introduce a significantly expanded betting menu and a larger footprint of 24/7 self-service wagering kiosks.

A Strategic Partnership for an “Elevated Experience”
The decision to partner with William Hill is a strategic one for Virgin Hotels. The resort is aiming to align its sportsbook with the “dynamic energy and innovation” of its brand, and it sees William Hill as the right partner to achieve that goal.
“We couldn’t be more excited to partner with William Hill to elevate our sportsbook experience,” said Cliff Atkinson, president of Virgin Hotels Las Vegas. “William Hill is the right strategic partner for us given its track record of providing an unmatched retail and mobile sports betting experience in Nevada.”
Integrating Retail and Mobile Betting
A key component of the new partnership is the seamless integration of the retail sportsbook with William Hill’s mobile app. For the first time, guests at Virgin Hotels Las Vegas will be able to sign up for the William Hill Nevada mobile app directly on-site and make cash transactions for their online accounts.
“Our sports betting product offering in Nevada stands apart and will help attract new guests to the property,” said Dan Shapiro, Senior Vice President and Chief Development Officer for William Hill. “For the first time, Virgin Hotels Las Vegas guests will be able to sign up for mobile sports betting via the William Hill Nevada app and make cash transactions on-site, delivering a seamless experience.”
An Expanded Betting Menu and Enhanced Viewing
Once the new sportsbook opens, it will feature an “elevated viewing experience” and a vastly expanded array of betting options. This will include prop bets, Same Game Parlays, and live in-game wagering with a cash-out feature.
As the largest sportsbook operator in Nevada and an official partner of the NFL and NHL, William Hill is known for its extensive betting menu. The company has rolled out its largest wagering menu to date for the current football season, offering two to three times more market options than in previous years.
The new sportsbook is the latest step in Virgin Hotels’ strategy to create a more integrated and rewarding guest journey. Earlier this year, the resort launched “Cherry Rewards,” a new loyalty program that allows members to earn and redeem points across nearly all of its amenities, from dining and retail to gaming.
