Genius Sports and X Partner to Boost Ad Spending with Trend Genius

Genius Sports has officially entered into a collaboration with X, formerly known as Twitter. The partnership aims to introduce Trend Genius, a product designed to optimize ad spending by leveraging real-time social media interactions.

Functionality of Trend Genius

Trend Genius utilizes X’s Ads and Trend APIs to analyze live conversations and events on the platform. That allows advertisers to pinpoint emerging trends and allocate their advertising budgets more effectively. By capturing dynamic and unpredictable trends as they occur, brands can engage more deeply with their target audience.

Genius Sports, known for its role as the exclusive data distributor for major sports leagues such as the NFL, NCAA, and the Premier League, has utilized its expertise in data-driven products to create real-time algorithms for Trend Genius.

Genius Sports has had a successful half-year filled with new partnerships and financial success. The company generated $120 million in revenue, a 23% increase compared to the same period the previous year. Genius will release its second quarter 2024 results before 8:00 AM ET on Tuesday, August 6, 2024.
