Internet Vikings Backs Plannatech’s Arizona Betting Push
Internet Vikings, a licensed hosting provider for U.S. iGaming and sports betting, inked a deal to support Plannatech’s Arizona expansion.

Cloud Hosting Deal Seals Partnership
Plannatech, a B2B veteran now jumping into B2C, tapped Internet Vikings for VMware cloud hosting solutions to power its move. Leveraging the Betcris brand, a known name in Americas sports betting, Plannatech’s aiming to plant a solid flag in Arizona’s growing market with a reliable tech backbone.
Internet Vikings brings structured processes, a stable hosting environment, and tech know-how to keep Plannatech’s operations humming.
“This is our second state with them—they’ve been a breeze to work with, giving us the sturdy hosting we need as operators now,” said Plannatech CEO Adam Bjorn.
Internet Vikings’ quick support locks in uptime for Plannatech’s iGaming and sportsbook rollout, marking Arizona as the latest step in its U.S. climb.
Arizona’s Hot Market in Play
Arizona’s sports betting scene is on fire, hitting a $791.2 million handle in October 2024, per state data. While some operators struggle to grab a slice, Plannatech’s banking on Betcris’s track record to stand out.
The brand’s decades in Latin America give it street cred, and this deal with Internet Vikings ensures the tech side holds up. “We’re thrilled to extend our VMware solutions here as Plannatech rolls out fresh strategies,” said Rickard Vikström, Internet Vikings’ CEO and founder.
The partnership’s a natural fit. Internet Vikings already hosts Plannatech in one other state and Arizona’s the next logical play. With compliance tight in a state that’s issued 18 sports betting licenses since 2021, per Arizona Department of Gaming stats, Plannatech’s leaning on Internet Vikings’ secure cloud to stay legit and steady. The Betcris name’s a draw, but it’s the hosting muscle that keeps the lights on.
