Matt Schwimmer Appointed GM of Action Network by Better Collective
Better Collective has named Matt Schwimmer as the new General Manager of its sports media brand, Action Network.

Dual Leadership Roles
Schwimmer, who will also continue in his role as CEO of Playmaker HQ, will work closely with Better Collective’s Chief Content Officer, Chad Millman, and other executives to steer the brand’s strategic growth and financial performance.
In his expanded role, Schwimmer will leverage his experience from Playmaker HQ, where he has been CEO since November.
Under his leadership, Playmaker HQ successfully launched popular podcasts such as “The Big Podcast with Shaquille O’Neal” and “The Roommates Pod with Jalen Brunson and Josh Hart.”
Schwimmer’s dual leadership positions are expected to bring a cohesive strategy across both brands as he focuses on enhancing the Action Network’s presence in the sports media landscape.
Background and Experience
Schwimmer joined Better Collective in March 2022, bringing with him a diverse background in consulting and strategic roles at notable firms including Ernst & Young, Drive by DraftKings, McKinsey & Co., and JED Consulting.
His experience across these varied positions will be instrumental as he takes on the challenge of driving growth and overseeing financial operations at Action Network.
