Scientific Games Becomes Ohio Lottery’s New Technology Partner
Scientific Games has been selected as the new technology partner for the Ohio Lottery, providing an advanced lottery gaming system. The agreement includes the deployment of the Momentum platform, featuring the AEGIS system, Infuse tool, WAVE terminals, and the Lottery InMotion digital content system.
Scientific Games Partners with Ohio Lottery
Following a competitive procurement process conducted by the state of Ohio, Scientific Games has secured its role as the Ohio Lottery’s new gaming system technology partner.
The company will deliver its Momentum ecosystem, which includes the cutting-edge AEGIS central gaming system and the Infuse Business Intelligence tool. Scientific Games’ innovative WAVE point-of-sale terminals and the Lottery InMotion digital content system will support Ohio Lottery’s extensive retail network.
Additionally, Scientific Games will provide its PlayCentral self-service kiosks, enabling the lottery to engage Ohio players with expanded game content and support new retail and restaurant locations.
Ohio Lottery will also benefit from the expertise of Scientific Games’ team of gaming, product, and technology specialists, along with facility management services.
Driving Responsible Growth
Scientific Games already provides Ohio Lottery with scratch-off games through its Scientific Games Enhanced Partnership (SGEP) program, operated out of its Cleveland-area facility. This program, in place since 2019, offers in-house sales, advanced logistics, and analytics support.
The partnership aims to responsibly drive future growth and sustainability for Ohio Lottery. One hundred percent of Ohio Lottery profits support K-12, vocational, and special education programs throughout the state.
Pat McHugh, Scientific Games CEO, concluded, “On behalf of all the Scientific Games teams who have been hard at work developing a responsible, sustainable growth plan for the Ohio Lottery with our newest, performance-driven technology, we are celebrating this award. We look forward to working with the Ohio Lottery to bring new products and technology which will ultimately help support education funding in Ohio.”
