Scientific Games Extends Florida Lottery Scratch-Off Deal
Scientific Games locked in a three-year extension with the Florida Lottery, keeping its Enhanced Partnership program rolling.

Three-Year Renewal Boosts Education Funds
This deal, building on a 37-year run, keeps Florida among the top five instant game lotteries worldwide, per La Fleur’s 2024 World Lottery Almanac. The focus stays on pumping up Scratch-Off sales to fund Florida’s public schools, colleges, and the Bright Futures Scholarship Program.
Since 1988, Scientific Games has been the Lottery’s main or sole Scratch-Off supplier, growing sales from $584 million to over $6 billion yearly.
The program packs a punch. It hands the Lottery real-time analytics, game planning, portfolio management, licensed brand tie-ins, logistics, retail support, and second-chance promos. From its Orlando hub, Scientific Games serves 13,500+ retailers using SciTrak Ultra, a top-tier game management tool.
Florida Lottery Secretary John F. Davis said, “We’ve raised over $48 billion for education since 1997, sending a million-plus students to college on scholarships. This extension keeps those dreams alive.” The partnership’s track record shows—sales soared since the full program kicked off in 1997.
Performance Edge and Global Reach
The Enhanced Partnership isn’t just Florida’s play. Over 20 lotteries worldwide use it, including five of the top six instant game performers. In fiscal 2023-24, U.S. lotteries on the program saw 31% better per capita sales, per MAP weekly data.
John Schulz, Scientific Games’ President of Americas and Global Instant Products, noted, “Our work with Florida consistently ranks among the best globally. We’re proud to boost profits for education here.” The company’s tools and insights keep the Lottery’s Scratch-Offs humming.
Scientific Games brings big brand power too. Hits like MONOPOLY and LOTERIA games have become Florida favorites, anchoring the lineup.
With 70% of global instant scratch sales tied to its products, the company’s a heavyweight—serving 150 lotteries across 50 countries with games, tech, and analytics. In Florida, that muscle’s turned Scratch-Offs into a $6 billion-plus machine, fueling classrooms and campuses.
